Usability Testing

Findings and Recommendations

Overview

Using the think-out-loud testing method, I recruited representative users. Gave them tasks to perform. Then I shut up and let the users do the talking. Next, I synthesized data into a findings report and wrote a goal statement that guided the sketched and digitized wireframes created in AXURE. Then I made an architectural diagram to flush out the app's functional requirements and show the users' journey I'd test.

I made an interactive prototype in AXURE, recruited representative users, repeated the think-out-loud testing method. And finally, I synthesized data into a recommendations report.

Conclusion

7/7 users would like to select the ripeness of organic fruit and veggies. Also, users would like the ripeness slider to match an image of the item representing the different stages of ripeness.
